oya is the perfect shirt for summer. whether at work or at leisure, this shirt always fits. it is elegant and sporty at the same time and impresses with an exciting back. The inset square on the back shows a floral pattern.
for this collection we transform found objects into new, unique products with a touching sense of nostalgia.
the model is 175cm tall and wears size M
fabric
for the oya shirt no new resources were used. we collaborated with the workwear company petermann from germany and received shirts from overproduction, which we redesigned. we used only high quality 100% cotton shirts.
the buttons and the inset square on the back are from caritas. The inset square was a comforter cover in former life.
care
the shirt is easy to care for and can be washed on a gentle cycle at 30°C. the shirt should not be tumble dried, but can be ironed at a maximum of 150°C.
the design, the pattern and the prototyp from oya shirt is made at the studio of velvet novel in lucerne, switzerland. the shirt is sewn by dorota and her team in poland. the studio is located in stettin, close to the german border. it’s a small team of six seamstresses.
