the square scarf kyra plays with distances in the weaving technique. due to the lightness of the scarf it can also be worn as a headdress.

the scarf is 100% eri silk (peace silk) and is biodegradable.
the eri silk fabric is hand-spun, nature-dyed and hand-woven by 7weaves in the forest regions of northeastern india, in assam.
eri silk can be washed by hand with cold water. the scarf can be ironed at a maximum of 150°C. eri silk cannot be tumble dried and cannot be bleached.
the collection was created in collaboration with 7weaves. the scarf was woven by gunita rabha in the studio of 7weaves in the rajapara forest village in assam.
the craft of handspinning, natural dyeing and handweaving of textiles made of peace silk, strengthens the position of women, offers economic freedom of indigenous communities and preserves the impressive biodiversity of the indoburma region.
